Discover local walks and rides
Our locations means that we are near so many areas of natural beauty.
When the trees aren't in full bloom, stunning views over the Dee Estuary to North Wales can be seen from our terrace however, if you want to get out there and see what else is in the area then we have got some possible walks and cycle routes to give a try.
The ‘Wirral Way’ is a 12 mile stretch of disused railway line that has been covered over to create the perfect traffic-free pathway/cycleway, which runs from West Kirby all the way to Hooton in Chester. You can hop on and off the Wirral Way at various points and make your walk/cycle ride as long or as short as you like.
It doesn’t have to be a day’s hiking but it can just be an hour down to the Wirral Country Park or a stroll along the Heswall Dales. However if you do fancy something that little bit more challenging then why not take a look at one of the below walks that have been created by ‘Visit Wirral’ to help you get to know the area.
