We have been working hard over the past couple of months to finalise our new summer menu and can’t wait for you to try it. Our guests, diners and drinkers can rest assured that we are doing everything we can to create a safe and enjoyable environment for all.

Dining at The Jug & Bottle
Here at the Jug we have come up with a delicious homemade menu of all time favourite pub classics along with some hearty seasonal specials.
All of our food is sourced locally where possible from Wirral and surrounding farmers to both support local business and also to showcase the fantastic produce that this area has to offer. We like to use seasonal meats, game, fruit and vegetables so that our menu stays fresh and we can offer dishes that you may not see on every menu such as locally shot pheasant or Claremont asparagus.
Our menu is served all day seven days a week including our delicious roasts on Sundays.
Our chefs love to try out new seasonal specials so the menu can change regularly. The below are SAMPLE MENUS and some of the dishes may differ.
Reservations & Walk-Ins
With a reduced number of tables and chairs and offering table service only, we highly recommend pre-booking a table. This can be done ONLINE (tables are currently capped at a maximum of 6 people as per government guidance) or by phone on 0151 342 5535. You are still able to drop in unannounced for a drink or a bite to eat, as we are keeping a number of tables inside and all our tables outside, available for walk-ins. However, you may be required to queue at busy times whilst a table becomes available, as currently customers are not permitted to stand at the bar and have a drink.
For the same reason we ask that customers do not turn up early for their table as we will not be able to offer you drinks at the bar whilst you wait.
